This record is full of the "U2 sound" and it's as fresh and interesting as it was 20 years ago. This is a great record!
Of course since their last album contained a more pop sound and a more straightforward chord structure, they have decided to release an album with a more around about approach. Has less of the 'ooo yeah!' than some of their major hits, but has character if you can get into it.
