My brother took me to see Neil Young in Washington DC this past winter. As a youth, his music was profound and comforting to me but I never had the opprotunity to attend his concerts. What I witnessed in DC was a man that stayed true to his heart through the years--and listened in amazment as he sang profound lyrics of a spiritual awakening that left me impressed that he has jouneyed a path to Christ. Several years ago I started praying for Neil. I heard that he was in the hosital with a brain anerism. This album is what he did after his recovery.
