read this with Benny Hinn's Good Morning Holy Spirit for a super deep encounter with Him. Too wonderful, I am going on my second time through, I think that I am going to camp here for awhile.
I have been a Christian as long as I can remember. I was really little when I said my prayer but I have learned more about God in the TWO DAYS it took to read this book than I have in 27 years of existence. I cried during every chapter...Kleenex is a must with this one.

This book deals with a couple of issues that are not dealt with in normal reading. Very well done and it oozes God's view of people we would deplore. When we look from God's perspective and what we have been redeemed from...it allows for mercy to be extended to those who have scarred our lives and I'm amazed at how well the author has extended the love of God....I'm sure that the writer of the hymn Amazing Grace would agree.
I really got into the story and was read it to the end. Good story. Fulfilling to read. But all the dialog in between got to be a little too much for me. Talking about the running dialog with the persons of the Trinity personified by the folks at the cabin. It got to be so much talk I found myself skipping pages just so I could get back to the plot.Another thing that bothered me was they kept calling the Mama figure Papa. I just wished they had gone ahead and called her Mama. Why not? No kidding. Why not?
This book was so refreshingly unreligious to read and made God so real and personal. A friend who read it was changed by it too...said she laughed for the first time when she prayed. :) Will transform nonbelievers too I believe.
Now this is a book that could be catalytic in bringing redemption and transformation to Cities and Nations! Wait till the movie comes out! WoW!!!

We just lost our little girl a week ago, and I'm reading this now to help understand what happened, and why when we contended for months for her healing, we didn't see it. I know God is good, and I'm praying for a revelation as to how to keep walking in faith...
So amazing! I cried and laughed and cried and laughed. It was a continuous reminder of how our relationship with "Papa" can be. I know I will read this again and again.
This is an incredible , beautiful account of His radical Love for us. Seriously, one of the best books I've read in quite a while.
I can't even put into words how much this book changed my life and how I see God and how he (or she for those who have read this book) thinks of me. I want the world to read this. It's amazing... that's all I can say... amazing
poweful. we are passing out this book to many of our friends and employees. i've never read a book that so captured my understanding of God's love and how my Dad relates to me. Through it the HS has already spoken words to me that have cause me to seek change in areas of my life that I thought were ok. I can't wait to see the movie.
Got thru the forward, the lyrics of Larry Norman got me, inside thing between me and God, the ladybug on the cover too. I told my husban, "This is just for us" and then I cried, unexpected. Then I realized there are probably all kinds of things that are there just for each of us that are between us a God. It is for each of us. And I haven't even got to the first chapter. Looking forward!
The beginning was a bit frightening for me having small kids of my own, but now that I'm beyond that and into the God encounter, it's so awesome! Very enlightening. I think I will re-read it, but maybe skip the first part. :)
Read this after I lost my son. It was a God send in so many ways on so many levels. I even read the Bible differently because of it's influence. Great book. I agree with Jen, the first part was really rough for me too and I almost put it down. My family encouraged me to keep reading, I'm glad I did. So thankful!
My mom told me to read this book but first she made the mistake of telling me I may not like it cause I have a 8 month old daughter. We all have to admit that it's very heart wrenching to read. I almost put it down SOOO many times but considering the fact that I couldn't stop crying the whole time I knew I had to finish!! Needless to say it was really good. The way the trinity was explained, I've never heard before. It was nice to hear it all in "laymans" terms. In a nutshell: Great book!!! my mother-in-law is reading it too!!

I am almost 60 yrs old and have believed in Jesus since I was 11. This book brought insights I wasn't expecting. Fiction...yes. Really hard to continue, in the beginning...yes. If you put one foot in front of the other and finish the book, you will be so glad you did.

I have learned that I need to have a relationship with God, and not to think of Him as controlling, and a no fun God. He is amazing, and he is my Papa, I am looking forward to my life that I get to grow in my relationship with Him and other people around me, especially Zac. :-)
I thought it was a difficult read at first as it sounded a little like a chamber of commerce ad. But I persevered and was so rewarded . I'm not too big on fiction and I judge everything by the Word but I believe this author had a revelation in order to describe the Godhead as he did. Everyone should read it.
Great book. It is the ultimate SOZO!! I laughed and cried. I couldn't stop reading it finished it in 1 1/2 days.
