I'm only 1/4th the way through the book but I have to take it slow because Rabbi Lapin gives me so much knowledge to chew on. He says that when he is studying a certain passage of the Old Testament and then reads it in English, he feels sorry for the rest of us because it is just a shadow of the reality of what GD is saying. He compares it to going to a gourmet restaurant, reading the menu, but never getting to taste the food. With Rabbi Lapin's help showing me what the Bible is really saying in GD's perfect language, I am FINALLY getting to taste the food and IT IS GOOD! This is the most I've learned in many years of studying the Bible. As he tells Christians all the time "everyone needs a Rabbi". Well, he's convinced me. Thanks Rabbi!!!
