BeenUp2.com was born in April of 2007 when Layton Wedgeworth approached Ian Kilpatrick with an idea he had come up with that would let someone post a photo from a mobile phone to the web in seconds. The two began work immediately on the user interface and additional ways users could let their loved ones know what they've been up to. The site launched in May of 2007.
