I sent in a photo, but it didn't show up. What gives?
There could be a number of reasons this happens...
First, make sure you typed in your @beenup2.com e-mail address correctly... Next, be sure you are able to send pictures from your phone either via MMS or e-mail... You may want to try sending a photo from your e-mail address to be sure your account was setup properly.

How do I add a caption to my photo?
In the subject of your e-mail or MMS message type the title of your post.
How do I add a location to my photo?
How do I leave a comment on a photo?
To the right of every photo there is a white rectangle with a button below. Type your comment in the rectangle and hit the button that says "Leave Comment". In some cases a user only allow their friends to leave comments. A perfect opportunity to make a new friend!
Who will see my comments?
Anyone can see the comments you leave on a photo. If you would like to say something private to a specific user, see "How can I send a user a private messsage?" below.
How can I send a user a private message?
Click on the user's name or avatar to bring you to their profile page. Below their photo on the left is a link to Send This User A Message. Click that and you're good to go.
I got a private message from a user, how do I write them back?
Below the message is a large white rectangle with your avatar to the right of it. This is your "speech bubble". Type your message within that rectangle and hit the "Send" button when you're finished.
What is a "Nudge"?
When a user hasn't posted a photo within the last 48 hours you will be able to Nudge them. This sends that user a text or e-mail from you saying "(your username) says: What you BeenUp2?"
How do I find my friend on BeenUp2?
The easiest way is to click Home (at the top of the page) then scroll down to the red box and search for friends by name, e-mail or username.
How do I add a friend?
Once you have found a user you want to be friends with, go to their user profile. Under their avatar on the left is a link that says "Add As Friend". Click it.
What is a Timeline?
A timeline is a calendar view of a user's photos. View by the year, month, week or day. A great way to get to know somebody.
How do I view a user's past photos?
There are two ways. Below each photo is a Next & Previous link. Browse this way, or find their View Timeline link on their profile page.
To see what everyone is Up2 click on the Everything link at the top. Your Home page is reserved for your friends and you. (See "How do I add a friend" above)
How can I edit a photo/caption of mine?
Click My BeenUp2 at the top of the page. This will take you directly to your Manage Photos page.
Can I BeenUp2 if I don't have a mobile phone?
Yes! You can e-mail photos to your @beenup2 e-mail address. Or go to My BeenUp2 at the top, then click Add Photo. You can also post YouTube videos. Give it a try!

How do I post videos?
Two ways - Send them from your mobile phone just like you would a photo. Or upload it to your YouTube account, then go to your Manage Videos page and follow the instructions on Adding a Video.
