I took calculus my first quarter in college. But I didn't get it, even though the brainy guys in the dorm tried to help me, so I transferred down to trigonometry, which I proceeded to fail. Later I got a D in algebra to complete my math requirement. But I got straight A's in music theory!!!!
Reggie:
I'm not a math mind at all, without a calcualtor I'm lost. Geometry might as well have been written in greek, calculus, I cant even imagine

Quote from a page entitled "Why Calculus?" "Calculus is fundamentally a theory of continuous objects. However, in many applications the theory is extended through the interplay between discreteness and continuity. Discrete problems may be described by continuous models and discrete methods may be applied to solve continuous problems."
