two more finals :( Yea we are taking two summer classes so we only have to take 3 at a time next year instead of 4. I have about a week and a half before summer school starts

Well the bad: I have jury duty :/ Mark and I are taking the CBEST to hopefully be substitutes this up coming year.
The good: My family and Uncle's family are going camping at New Brighton by Capitola :)

ooo camping!!! Thats your trip that you always take right? Jury duty-not so good! :( He is studying to be a college prof. He has his BA in Bible & Theology and is almost done with his Masters. THEN its PhD...UGH!!!! I'll be so glad when its all over

Good for him! It will be worth it :) I had a plan to be in school for the next 6 years, but it just isn't what I am passionate about. You have to really love what you do to stay in school that long.

seriously Hannah, you really have to love it to stay with it that long. I think the sub thing is a great idea. I was talking with some coworkers and they said that on an average day, the school I'm at, has at least 3 teachers out. If every school in a town has that many out, that's a lot of jobs to fill!

Yea that's what I was hoping. Gas is so expensive to Davis That we are trying to get a Tuesday THursday Schedule each quarter. (Mark lives in Folsom so it is 80 miles round trip every day we have school) So subbing the other 3 days a week would be ideal :)

if you're taking the CBEST i would suggest getting a study aid book from borders. that's what i used when i took mine. it was easy! you'll do fine!

some schools you have to have BA already. the CBEST if for teaching in general. you have pass it in order to get accepted into a teaching program. what do you have to do in HI?

ah ok. You need a BA and then you have to take a class. After that you have to interview with each principle to get on their priority list.

in NJ you only need 60 college credits to sub! When I came here I was bummed.

Here you have to have 3 years of college to sub, but you ca only keep that credential for 2 years. After that you need a BA, for public schools at least...
