gingers1025: I hate to dispel the "Glory" theory as I believe both Ray and Bill carry the glory. But as a photographer I have to point out that it is the lighting, inferior cell phone cameras and the angle at which the photo is taken that causes the "glow"

bina: i was told that orbs in pictures r actually the bowls that angels hold that r either being taken up or brought down from heaven...

gingers1025: @Jackied i agree the glory theory is fun, as long as we know we are having fun. As a photographer I want to know that what we document is honest, so that, one day, when I photograph someone truly glowing with the glory or an angel (and I expect to do that some day) it will be real and not the limitations of a camera.

I guess on a public site such as this an intercessor-ish type of fun perspective should be clearly defined, especially when we are in a season of validating the miraculous and signs and wonders. Again, thank you for your good-eye.

gingers1025: Now you got my heart :) There are those that really believe this is the glory of God on a man. I believe all Christians carry the glory, some to a greater extent. But when we seriously claim this is the glory and then a friend takes a pic at a secular concert and all of those performers are glowing as well (along with the drums and other inanimate objects under the light in the background) to me it cheapens the real thing and makes it suspect. So I am happy you understand where I am coming from :) Haven't seen you in ages— I miss you.

jackied: I love the feeling of being on the same page! You know, I have seen the glory on Bill before - a couple of times actually - one time stands out to me in particular - last year Session #5 of the May 8, 2007, Leadership Advance. From the moment he stepped on the platform, it was on... I never thought to capture it on a camera (especially since I own one of those "inferior cell-phone cameras" :-) I have't been seen in a while because I am usually beneath a text book or a mound of research projects for work and school - only a few more months of that and I will become visible again. Thanks for the sentiment - makes me feel loved :-)

@jackied: Yes I did that glory on Bill last week as well.....and on Beni, Ray, Brian, Jenn, Ian, Leah, and everyone else..i love the Glory!

openjoe: Ginger, just do a google image search for orbs. You'll see many of them. I have found them on some of my pics.

bina: when i went to soulfest last year they had a cross there that u could hammer a nail into to leave behind something u wanted to "let go of" -- later in the evening, they removed the nails and filled the holes with flowers and i took a pic and there r orbs all over it -- that's when the angels with bowls taking them to heaven meant something to me... i'll try to find the pic and post it

openjoe: I saw it. Ya know occultish people think the orbs are spirits or ghosts. I've also seen them in pics of backstage at rock concerts.

cozby: I have to add, my dad took a picture of a friend and she was absolutely glowing, it wasn't the lighting though...it looked like someone had done the digital glow effect on her...this was before digital cameras.
Also, I get orbs in my pictures all the time and they are always next to someone or above their head....really cool!
