You know every kind of trivia in the world so I was surprised to find something that I know that you did not know!!!! Jon-Jons became popular when John Kennedy was president. They were worn by his son so they became Jon-Jons. It became the attire for all well dressed little boys and the south has followed in that. Most boys wear them for dress functions until about 4 years of age. Now you don't see them much pass 2 years of age. I think that is because more fathers have become active in the lives of their children and they desire to start dressing their little boy more like a grown up than a child.

about the jon jons we wore them religiously and still have four that fit-- but it is not so easy with the potty situations anymore- but I still put them on for church sometimes!
