I don't care about the bag or what it says (though I've heard of it). I can't bare to look at the homemade cookies!
Anyone want to send a care package to a soldier of the Lord (who isn't harming anyone), the address is, Ron estrada, PO BOX 192, Puli, Taiwan 545. If the cookies r good, I'll never forget to stop praying 4 u ! :-)

Beni, I have been looking into stevia...do you use it at all for sweetening? Can it be used in baking? My mom bought some xylitol, and I heard it's great for your teeth.

Srevia has a bit of an after taste. You can also use Guava Nectar (Trader Joes). I'm anxious to try the xylitol. Great looking cookies Beni.

Stevia is also...you just want anything that rates low on the glycemic index. I have heard that Stevia is good when you get it without the fiber added (like Stevia Plus or something like that)...I think the added fiber gives it that weird bitter aftertaste, but I could be wrong. It's supposed to be really good. I wonder how honey/agave/stevia/xylitol all rate on the glycemic index. That would be interesting to see!

Did anyone pray in cookies for me? The other day I was sitting in church and my pastor's wife walked up to me with a big box of a variety of big hand made cookies. Moist, thick, and the chocolate chips were big and juicy. I've never seen cookies like this before in this country in 5 years. So if it was you who prayed them in for me, thank you so much! God bless you! Please let me know who you are! XOXOXO :-) LOL I'm not kidding! WoW!
