take a handful into a powerful blender and water- blend. You can strain it but I need the fiber. The Blendtec makes great nut milk. Then add frozen berries, dates ( including the pit because it is a cancer fighter!) , some ice and blend. SO REFRESHING

I don't eat the pit, it's ground into the smoothie... but years ago people used to roast the pits... I don't recommend that. Apricot pits have been proven to have a B vitamin that kills cancer cells. There's alot of benefit in eating seeds most people throw out. I put the whole lemon in my smoothies, skin and seeds, same with oranges.

Does putting the whole fruit (lemon, orange) really change the flavour? ....make it really tangy?

sheena look up drying apricot pit on google. You actually eat the seed inside the pit It gets tangy but add agave nectar start out with 1/4th lemon. Tastes so yummy

I've been having smoothies like crazy lately! I don't like to get them out at places because I like to control what's in them, but they're so good and satisfying! It's like a treat, but you can fill it up with healthy stuff!!! :)
