carliray: I am only homeschooling Ducky this year, Jen. She is in first grade. Next year I will homeschool Kallai too, she will be in Kindergarten.

bekah: a friend of mine at work whose kids are all grown now was telling me that every year on the first day of school, the mom's would go out to breakfast to console each other. It became a tradition that lasted all through the kids' high school years.
I thought that was kinda cool. A little difficult if you're homeschooling, though

emigh03: When I was a little emigh I had a desk like that on our covered front porch and i used to catch butterflys and fill up the desk and then I would open the top and watch them all fly out around me......memories!
