WHAT THE HECK! Wasn't that bazaar? Nastia deserved gold!

daddyratty:
I just go back to my criteria for qualifying as a "sport:"
1) Must be objectively scored (no judges) 2) Must have a defense

not right! first, they established that they Never tie..but they had a tie...so give them both a gold, don't allow a panel of judges with their own loyalties to decide...Im surprised that Nastia's coach didn't object...

Like Bela said, "They got ripped off!!!"

it doesn't make sense because they have given two golds in the past in gymnastics to ppl who tied (like Nastia's dad).

Yeah, the fact that you can't get a perfect 10 is ridiculous to me. I hate the scoring methods. Also, the fact that Chung Fe got the bronze after LANDING ON HER KNEES in the vault is LUDICROUS! Nastia deserved gold on the uneven bars. It was a better performance, and the fact that the scores that decided the gold/silver standing were from VERY inexperienced judges from countries that don't produce any kind of decent gymnasts.

@ daddyratty - i couldn't care less if anyone qualifies it as a "sport" or not, it's SO fun to watch....the 10,000 meter run, however...not so much. :o)

daddyratty:
I enjoy watching, too. And the 10,000m run isn't a sport, either (Rule #2).
PS -- Thank you for saying "couldn't care less" instead of "could care less"

lol, funny you should say that cause I actually typed "could" first, and then reminded myself that that doesn't make any sense.
And you're right, not a sport. Okay, so let's me change my comment to "handball and water polo, however...not so much."
