2cjustice: I should clarify. I meant I got on a plane after waiting 14 hours. I started at 9:30pm and flew out at 1:30pm the next day. Now I'm stranded in Sacramento

2cjustice: nope. me and about 96 other distressed passengers. I went from #70 on the list to #35 to #53 to #29,#18,#8 then finally got on. Was not fun one bit. It was because of huricane Ike. continental canceled all flights to Texas thus leaving several hundred passengers in AK. So, AK airlines took them and flew them to seattle.

sonfleur: Oh wow! That is hard! Poor everybody! I haven't flow often, so have not ever had the experience of being stranded in the airport. Which is good, because I usually travel with a toddler. That would be tough to wait out!

2cjustice: yea it was ugly but also great to see people who did not get on clap for those who did. Alaska Airlines did a really great job handling several hundred, maybe a few thousand passengers so quickly, all with a smile!

I travel a lot, this was the 1st time my travels was less than enjoyable. Only because I flew on a standby basis.
