shelly: yes, openjoe, our blessing is mutual...and Laura, you're asking a lazy painter...if it were my home, I would prime it with Kilz, and paint over, unless it has texture...If it were a client...sigh, wallpaper has to come off...

openjoe: I agree wallpaper must be removed to get a good painting surface. Unfortunately many times wallpaper covers a multitude of sins and you have to use spackle, etc.
