scomom:
@Heather...that's what I thought w/Ben (Bill never crawled...just walked one day) This means he's in trouble all the time! ...and they are chasing him everywhere!
at 04:34PM 09/22/08
kiac:
he'll get in trouble so angelically though. ;)
at 05:22PM 09/22/08
heatherdiane:
@nancy that's what i thought when i saw the picture, i was just trying to be optimistic...i'll be one of the people chasing him. haha
at 05:46PM 09/22/08
gregory:
Awesooome....but...encourage him to ALSO crawl...it helps with eye-hand coordination that is important with learning to read...I know it doesn't make sense...but ask a reading specialist.
at 05:49PM 09/22/08
gregory:
BTW...that doesn't look like a red & gold football player:)
jacquegrubbs:
awwwh, what a cutie, he is getting so mature:) ...... oh & thanks Gregory, they know this - Charis taught 2nd graders:) ..... knows her stuff/:
at 05:52PM 09/22/08
gregory:
@jacquegrubbs....cool...I was healed 4 years ago from dyslexia...I never crawled as a baby...my parents thought it was cool that I walked early...I'm always a concern papa and grandpa...
at 05:57PM 09/22/08
jacquegrubbs:
.. oh yes, we know the feeling, thanks. :)
at 05:58PM 09/22/08
scomom:
@Gregory...the "Bill" I was referring to is Charis' husband...who has quite good hand-eye coordination...and quite a good reader, too.!
at 06:21PM 09/22/08
bscofield:
Did Bill finally learn to read? That's awesome!
at 06:31PM 09/22/08
visorclown:
Awe Ben... always good for a joke...at someone else's expense.
at 06:55PM 09/22/08
billnreese:
just to clarify - he is not walking, not even close. he is crawling a lot! he just learned how to pull up to stand, but can't get anywhere once he is standing. i wasn't looking forward to this - kept pushing him down when he tried (lol!). i can wait to have him getting into more than he already is right now. oh, but the crawling after the two older brothers is INTENSE! -c
at 06:57PM 09/22/08
bethanys:
Mobile! That's awesome! Growing so very fast. Probably loves being able to chase his older brothers.
funny_girl:
He's really cute! Doesn't look like he can get too far standing up in that table even if he could walk, hehe
Our little guy turned 5 months today...I hope we can adopt him quickly & get him up to the states to do his crawling...All the floors here are tile & with scorpians, spiders, roaches & dirt, I hate to ever have him on the floor! No matter how much you clean, it's never enough. God bless America!!!
Funny that you kept pushing him down, hehe
at 08:14PM 09/22/08
billnreese:
i would go crazy with all those pests. i am not in a hurry for this 3rd one to grow up. -c
at 08:19PM 09/22/08
aimee:
He is so cute. It's nice of him to take a wee friend with him exploring ;)
at 08:21PM 09/22/08
nichole:
Uriah & Asher both walked/ran at about 9.... they must take after uncle Kurt! haha.
at 09:02PM 09/22/08
scomom:
Charis...just some perspective...Kurt was crawling like a maniac @ 5mos. & running by 9! See what you have to look forward to Heather!
at 09:03PM 09/22/08
heatherdiane:
o no!!! and i want twins. nothing will deter me. bring it on
at 09:07PM 09/22/08
scomom:
@Charis...let's see if he can outdo Uriah!
at 09:25PM 09/22/08
billnreese:
@greg- i have heard things about crawling being good for brain development too... bill was a lucky one i guess who still read well after not crawling because i think that is the exception. i have had 3 crawlers, good for me. :) @ nancy - no way! i am hoping he isn't a climber. i will keep pushing him down. -c
at 09:27PM 09/22/08
aslan:
@charis.... What a bully! Look at that cute face... How can you push him down? :)
scomom:
@Aslan...I know. He looks so innocent! @Charis...we're glad you guys (& Heather & Kurt) get to chase him! @Greg...Charis is right. He was an exception. Those early skills are so important for kids. While working w/a bilingual school in Guatemala (Bill also taught there), there was a young man, who at the age of 14 was sent into therapy to play w/blocks because not having done it as a child had given him some learning disabilities.
at 09:43PM 09/22/08
gregory:
I find Bill exceptional. :) BTW, does the silver and blue he is wearing indicate any team loyalties?
at 01:59AM 09/23/08
billnreese:
now that you mention it, greg, he will need to be raised right to be a dallas cowboys fan... (his daddy and pa may disagree...) maybe the colors were subliminal? hmmm... lol -c
at 07:54AM 09/23/08
billnreese:
@nancy- you know you really wish you were out here to chase him yourself... -c
at 07:59AM 09/23/08
hupagirl:
Oh my, he is adorable!! love all the cute chub and blue eyes :) @charis, so funny about "pushing him down"!! And yep, definately want crawlers for the development!
at 08:18AM 09/23/08
nichole:
lol @ Aslan aka Dad. Charis you are a bully, remind me to not let you watch Havyn. I don't think she'd like being "pushed down". hehehe.
at 09:33AM 09/23/08
gregory:
@charis....Bill is a Dallas fan?!?!....he really is exceptional....after the Dodgers win the World series, he and I will have to watch a game...Romo needs a lot of prayer....he has a blond problem.
at 09:45AM 09/23/08
lindalee:
He is sooooooo cute! Maybe he will be exceptionally mellow ... it could happen!
at 11:33AM 09/23/08
katieann:
Wow!!! Is he really big enough for this?!!!! So cute!!!
at 12:40PM 09/23/08
scomom:
@Charis...you're right! That's exactly why I am on an aggressive exercise program & 1200 calorie diet. I want to be able to play football w/them still...and the girls. I refuse to have my life dictated to me by a bad back.
at 12:49PM 09/23/08
kendrickae:
i really want to come see this for myself! Good job David!!!
at 12:50PM 09/23/08
kendrickae:
i wonder if watching his brothers moved him to get crawling sooner?
at 12:51PM 09/23/08
funny_girl:
@scomom, i'm doing a program like that. Good for you! If you want/need an acountability partner, let me know.
at 02:53PM 09/23/08
billnreese:
@greg - I am the Dallas fan. Bill loves the Rams. -c
at 04:57PM 09/23/08
aslan:
@greg... Pray for BOTH of them. They are under deception. Dallas may be America's team, but the 49ers are Aslan's team. Could there be a better endorsement???!!!
gregory:
Charis....how did ya pull that off??? @aslan....the 9er's have humbled Dallas more than a few times. Hey the Dodgers stomped the San DIego 10 to 1
at 11:52PM 09/23/08
christyd:
very cute, he must be strong.future football player?
twopennies:
he's going to take over the world. next is the empire state building with a damsel in his hand. =) -j
at 04:28PM 09/26/08
gregory:
@aslan....ya can't go wrong being a 9'ers fan....if not this year than next year...same with Dallas....but to be a Rams fan requires a real test of loyalty and perseverance...
at 04:46PM 09/26/08
gregory:
@billnreese....Oppps.....there....I fix it....oh no it moved.
