BAD!! That is how she got her other one. It was called "Antivirus 2009" and is a known virus. Just search under Google. No free virus software is that good. Some work ok until you get a virus. Your only warning. Chrissy is hooked up with Symantec which is the best. And Spy Sweeper. lol. Very cute Chrissy. Give me a call later today and we can finish up.

I agree...with Frank. I had alot of trouble with mine when I got the AVG....This is actually one of the reasons I got a MAC....I was so sick of viruses. I am glad you got your puter working lovey. How are you? Message me.

i use AVG all the time and it works better than anything else out there, my computer ran so slow thanks to kates constant browsing and with that software and spybot i ran at full speed

I'm glad its working for you bro. But unless you have something with a subscription where they are updating your protection all the time, it's just a matter of time. Unfortunatelly there are hackers and virus authors who are out there trying there hardest to mess up our computers. Virus and Spyware applications are the only ones I tell people they need to pay for to get the best protection. I know it sucks. May God protect your computer! lol. Anyway, Unc is always here if you ever have a prob!.

This all reaffirms my agreement with Angela. Mac is where I'm heading next! HATE viruses! I am still dealing with the aftermath of it. Only thanks to our hero Frank, was I able to survive this! It's been a huge nasty mess!!!!!

MAC's are the worst, i cant stand using them its just a pain to navigate and all together way to expensive for what little you get, of course i wont rant about this subject because there wont be enough space left for complaints about it lol, use linux it has almost non existant viruses even though its not the most complete os but its getting there, or you can dual boot osx on a pc which is what i would do but thats a big hastle that im to lazy to handle

Wow, what a forum this has become. MACs.. Well they are the best... for professional Music and Video editing. Everything else, you may be sorry you have one. Hard to get software of your choice for. And no, they are not safe, it is just that more people have pc's then MACs. If the hackers start targeting the MACs they will go down faster then PCs. They are just not targeted as much. But they are not immuned from viruses or spyware. Chrissy's problem was a PC is unique in that is is not an original install, and ended up with one. They do get less, but I have not had a virus on my computer in 10 years. Go Symantec. It's just my opinion, but I use my computer a lot, and having a MAC would eliminate my ability to purchase a lot of software. So, I will always stick with PC.

see thats what i told my friend who thinks macs are the best and are immuned to viruses but no one believes me its not like macs are god like there just a rebranded pc with a huge price tag, sry if someone wiht a mac doesn't like this but its just my take

OMG I can't belive I have just found this. AVG is the best you can get for free(.) MAC sucks and I also use Symantec but the corperate ver so i do not have to pay.

If this thread keeps going, it will be the longest in history! SAV is best, but if you can't pay then use AVG I guess. Until... you get a virus. Then back to SAV. for $$. :)
