jakesmom: we filled our truck the other day at safeway for $1.51 a gallon because for every $100 spent on groceries you get 10 cents off. We couldn't remember the last time we paid that in Alaska. We had lived in SE Alaska on an island and it was always high. It was just so wierd but GREAT!! For a grand total of $38:36!!

If Dougy and Kathy Jo over a 4 week period spent $500 on groceries at Safeway earning a total of 10 cents per every $100 dollars spent and gasoline was $2.01 a gallon that day how much did Dougy and Kathy Jo pay per gallon for their gas that day and if they spent $38.32 how many gallons of gasoline did they get for their Ford F150?
