It goes back to the early pictograph form of the hebrew alphabet. Each letter was a picture like hyrogliphs (sp) and if you put them together to make a word it had so much more meaning to it.. There is a website called www.Hebrew4christians.com that shows the early forms of the letters and the meaning of the m all. I studied this a few years ago.. its amazing.

Really - Thats sooo cool. I wanda what our names would sound like and what color they would be? that reminds me of what Jerry and Dano did in the school of worship with the sound table thing and the sand and we got a gal who spoke jewish to speak into the speaker some blessings and letters and it came up with the most amazing shapes.. one had the look of a the face of a lion..

Yes, its all very deep and totally amazing. I do know the the word for grace is 5 and the sound is HEI and I think the color is green

Yes it does! It's totally TOTALLY rad when you study it! I want so much to take a Hebrew and Greek class, one of my goals used to be to be able to read my Bible in it's original language
