shelly: i will never cease to be amazed at the endless variety of kizmos, gadgets and doodads available for construction...can these be reused?

Joseph William Perry
openjoe: You can reuse them if you just scrape off any bits of cement that is stuck to them.

Joseph William Perry
openjoe: Haven't got back to it in the last three days.

Reggie: is that the shower wall

at 12:46PM 01/12/08

Joseph William Perry
openjoe: Yes Babs, it is the tub/shower surround. My wife Leslie wanted it to go all the way to the ceiling ... so that's what I'm doing.

shelly: are we going to see a pic of the beautiful new tie job?

at 09:32PM 01/14/08

Joseph William Perry
openjoe: Haven't done the two end walls yet. Yesterday it took me half the day to drill four holes.

shelly: slow going, huh? maybe best to avoid strict deadlines on jobs like this...i am especially challenged in estimating realistic time for projects...i always way way underestimate, which leaves me feeling rushed and frazzled. this is looking good, joe...worth the effort, im sure.

Joseph William Perry
openjoe: Well, it's our house, so no pressure, time-wise. I go back to my test-scoring job next Monday - I'll probably get the tile up there before then. Maybe the grout too. Tile work is a "borderline" skill of mine - just enough knowledge to be dangerous.
