#1) That's my all-time favorite TV show
#2) He was the original choice for Indiana Jones, but Magnum PI contract wouldn't allow him to do the movie (Huge career swing). So towards end of series, there was a Magnum episode titled "The Legend Of The Lost Art" and he wore this outfit and had to solve riddles, face traps, etc.

Too bad, he would have been a great Indy. As you noted, his career went downhill from there. I have wondered what might have been if he had done the Jones series.
