This makes me smile more than you could know. We must be neat organized kindred spirits. Your living room is beautiful! And the tree just looks fantastic!! Well done!

I love your house, esp. the faux finishes on the wall, so rich and inviting.

Gorgeous! The tree looks so ALIVE! And I agree that your home looks very inviting! I bet people don't want to leave when they come to visit.
As far as I remember the first layer was a semi-bright light orange-y-ish color (not florescent but just not dull). Then we did a glaze with a pumpkin-ish color (but not quite as dark as pumpkin) and a dark dark brown (all separate cans of paint) and did the texture thing. It was fun but hard :).

I have a question.....?????? How do you keep the kids from the coffee table centerpiece?

@ Amanda - Well Havyn is just now learning, we say no and pick her up and move her & we clap when she moves on her own..... Kylie already knows better so she doesn't really touch it usually.
@ Cherylyn we did move the other table - it's in the garage for now. :)

I love your tree...I don't have one this year:( If I was in Redding, I would pay you to let me sit in your living room and stare at your beautiful tree. Can you tell I am home sick? Iol
