erika: you should definitely invest in shampoo that extends hair color... like bumble & bumble's - i used it for awhile, before I had blonde in my hair and it helped it stay shiny and fade less quickly! or you could get that less expensive one from walmart or target - it says Brunette on it... i forget who makes it.
