tammylove: i can try..but i dont have any kind of way to explain it.. i do it all by ear.. if that makes sense.. there is no numbers or light meterz just good old fashioned whatever looks better...

I do hella weird stuff to make it work.

you should try that to.. just go for it..

but stick to regular sun outside and reflectors.. people like it much better.. at least here.. dont know why.

tammylove: hanna one more thing.. half the pics i take are crap and the post is EXTENSIVE.. So a lot of what you see is hand painted in... Shooting is nothing compared to sitting in the chair....

hannahlynn: Im willing to try anything out of the norm ;) I know i just need more practice with doing the indoor stuff! That is the only way I have learned all this is by trial and lots of error! I get the whole by ear thing...its just doing seeing and then knowing what works. thanks girl!

tammylove: Hanna a strob is just a simple flash on top of your camera.. bounce it.. A LOT.. or pull the thing off and go into angles.. but that gets hella hard. so bounce it first.

tammylove: i have no secret at all... when i show up anywhere i do like a hundred test shots..

when i do a senior shoot i do another 100 or so test shots.. its all settings within that lighting areah..

but i do not know it so i find it everytime. its a bit of a pain.

my lighting is alien beez and canon stobes and reflectors thats all..nothing more...

and lots and lots of post..

tammylove: @Rielynn- Ya no formula whatsoever.. the pics built themselvs.. I have concepts in my head but ultimentaly the photo kinda just is. Totally different with each client or friend.

@Nicole- I never thought of my work in the comic book sense.. but im kinda weird so the more skill i get at lighting and editing the more the work reflects my true mind i geuss..

senior pics are really standard, well done and clean, but standard.. because they usually want normal so you have to do what they want..

but personal shoots like this with actors or artists or people i know well, are always very detailed and funny because they are themselvs and they let me do pretty much anything i want.. So these sittings are very very different.. much much funner to..
