I was HORRIFIED when I found this! Thank you Jesus because it has seemed like we've been fighting an uphill battle with the allergies. I bleached everything... they are just old windows that let too much moisture in I guess :(

Spray Bleach or if you have any Melaleuca stuff spray that..... it's not the kind of black mold that makes people ill for years, this is fine, well not fine but bleach it and you're all set! ;) Check stuffed animals, check the filter on the furnace and remember to open the windows in the house at least 20 minutes a few times a month even in the winters.. ( spoken as a Mom with allergies who has several sons with it and we do great now)
maryj:
oh no, thats not good. Our old house did this, they put in cheap windows when it was built and would sweat really bad in the winter

@Sandi thanks- I do have some melaleuca, so I may go back over it tomorrow with that. Because of dust, I previously threw out the stuffed animals- changed the filter today and also just bought an air purifier ($$ :) It feels nice to finally be on the right track!

@lil - i think that might be for vampires...or werewolves. i know where you can get some Melaleuca, Jazz! hardy har har

Aliya has literally had a sore throat for 2 months with swollen tonsils. This morning she woke up and the swelling is gone and there is no sore throat!!!!!
Just discovered the possible cause of 2 months of sickness for my girls.. Black mold on their windows. I never open their shades.. Looks like we'll be in the market for new windows
