Chris McClarney
chrism: @rachiebee: heck yeah! I tried to talk Jazzy into walking down to "Brick House"... for some reason she decided against it.

at 06:42PM 01/04/09

Rachel
rachiebee: lol, I can see her strutting now....okay not really...

Sara
saraz: my brother and sis in law did their walk back to "You Never Can Tell" by Chuck Berry. you know, the part with "It was a teenage wedding and the old folks wished them well..."

at 06:58PM 01/04/09

Carli and Matt
carlis: Rachie: I did too! Etta James has been one of my very favorite artists since high school. I get lost in her voice.

at 07:01PM 01/04/09

Rachel
rachiebee: Aw, cool! I'm glad I'm not the only one. Our wedding was FULL of music. Ah, how it moves me.

at 07:02PM 01/04/09

Chris McClarney
chrism: yep... she said no to Brink House AND i also wanted to walk out to Marvin Gaye singing "Let's Get It On"... she said no to that too

at 07:33PM 01/04/09

Chris McClarney
chrism: 'brick'... not 'brink' house

at 07:38PM 01/04/09

Jasmine McClarney
jazz: If I had to do it all over again, I think I might just go for it. I was a little too serious back then LOL :)

at 07:41PM 01/04/09

Mary
maryj: I love me some etta james!

at 08:38PM 01/04/09

Mary
maryj: lol brick house!
My cousin had her sister sing at last @ her wedding, then when they walked out they played I feel good.. my grandparents almost had a heart attack! lol

at 08:41PM 01/04/09

Sara
saraz: we also played "I'm too sexy" at the reception: dedicated to grandma! both of our grandmas got out on the dance floor and danced! it was awesome!

at 08:54PM 01/04/09

Jasmine McClarney
jazz: LOL!

at 08:58PM 01/04/09

Jessie S.
jessie: our "walk back down the aisle" was "Lets get it on" they started playing it as soon as we kissed

at 09:01PM 01/04/09

Jasmine McClarney
jazz: seriously jessie? thats awesome! haha

at 09:09PM 01/04/09

Jessie S.
jessie: yup, and we didn't tell anyone that we were gonna play it. It was great! I winked at the audience as we were leaving. It was so fun. And if you know me its me. I have been known to push the envelope. I think my mother in law almost died, LOL

at 09:11PM 01/04/09

Mary
maryj: lol thats a great story!!!

at 09:14PM 01/04/09

cathy
cathy_1942: Love Etta James!

at 09:46PM 01/04/09

steve collins
steve_og_65: Yeah, one church didn't like dancing so we had a reception elsewhere and the couple left the building to "Born to be Wild" got on a Honda Shadow 1150, wedding dress and tux and rode away. This was on of your BU2 friends. :-)

at 10:33PM 01/04/09

Carli and Matt
carlis: Matt wanted to walk down to I Would Walk 500 Miles, but I didn't let him. We actually walked out of our reception to Lets Get It On. I think all 375 people were taken off guard. It was hilarious. We had so many different types of music at our wedding too, but it was us. There is no discribing how music defines a moment in your life!

at 10:52PM 01/04/09

Jessie S.
jessie: My brother wants to sing " I would walk 500 miles" to his wife as she walks down the aisle. I hope he does.

at 07:11AM 01/05/09

Jasmine McClarney
jazz: LOL Carlis! Who knew "Lets Get it On" was actually such a popular wedding tune.. makes me laugh!

at 09:30AM 01/05/09

Jasmine McClarney
jazz: I mean, I guess it makes sense!

at 09:31AM 01/05/09

Rachel
rachiebee: Oh ours weren't funny, just really meaningful. My dad wrote two surprise songs for the wedding, "Give Her Away" which made me sobb like a baby, and "here we come" which is what we walked out to. Tim walked down the aisle to "twenty four" by switchfoot. And I also had a live all girl acapella choir that sang "the rose" and...hmm, I can't remember what else. OH! Yes it as "set me as a seal." It was awesome, but of course I'm biased. ;)

at 11:02AM 01/05/09

Rachel
rachiebee: P.a. I think funny songs would have been great too.so I'm not knocking it! Just to be clear! ;) I actually think "let's get it on" would be HILARIOUS!!

at 11:04AM 01/05/09

Rachel
rachiebee: Pa = ps, of course ;)

at 11:05AM 01/05/09

Carli and Matt
carlis: We only had the one funny song, but the rest were really sentimental. Be Thou My Vision was sang while we did communion. Oh, I guess Kiss Me was kind of fun to walk back down to. I loved it though.

at 01:14PM 01/05/09

Jasmine McClarney
jazz: We had Anthony Skinner sing one of his original worahip songs to walk down the aisle to and walked out to beautiful day by U2. Chris also surprise sang "I'm desperate for you" and it was funny to me because it was like he was REALLY desperate for God since he was marrying me! Love u honey ;)

at 01:27PM 01/05/09

Carli and Matt
carlis: Awww. I love Anthony Skinner! He is such a great guys and his music is amazing!

at 01:46PM 01/05/09

John Lawson
johnlawson: Is that "Brick House" as in the Commodores? "Shakah dow, Shakah dow now....AhhHHH, Brick....Hayousse!!" "She's mighty, mightay just-a lettin' it all hang out". HAHAHA....I'm cracking myself up. : )

at 05:44PM 01/05/09
