it only works if you have wireless internet.
click the wii options button, then choose wii settings, on the second page of options, choose "internet". Click on "Connection Settings" Choose an open connection. Choose "wireless" or "wired" Then "search for an access point" Click on your connection. Then enter your password. Click "ok" a few times...Thats how you set up your internet. Then go to the wii shop channel and buy the internet channel for $5 (500 wii points)
