Claireheydon...no the chocolate does not get salty. You don't have to put the chocolate (or milk duds or whatever) in the bowl with the popcorn. You can eat them separately...a couple bites of popcorn, then a bite of chocolate. Its really good if you like sweet/salty combinations...most people do.

I had this last night, I chopped it up in tiny pieces and it melted all over the popcorn, it was VERY yummy!!
