Laura- I love it. I have had this one for a few years now. I used to have a circular one but it's hard to make crackers with those and I like having everything in a square. It's easier to cut with straight lines.

Can you make beef jerky with these? How much are they. Nathan and I were just talking about wanting to get one. Our kids like dried fruit and I LOVE beef jerky.

Yes Joy you can make jerky. This one is an excalibur dehydrator.

They are more expensive than some but it's so worth it to get the square trays like this. I got the 4 tray one. In hind-sight I would have gotten maybe 5 or more for big batches but the 4 still works great. It has multiple settings: meat, fish and jerky, fruits & leathers, vegetables, yogurt, raising bread, and herbs. The price ranges from $100-219 depending on how many trays you get.
