I am in Columbia... Missouri ;) We're just as dark as any other Columbia, if not darker. We have 2 universities, 1 community college, and we're no more than 30 min away from 3 other community colleges, two other universities, and the state Capitol. We have one of two abortion clinics in the entire state. The largest wicca organization in the country is also about a half hour away, just miles from The Bridge Studio. They hold conventions downtown in the park and openly call them "pagan day." Neo Nazis have also begun coming once a year for a rally. Our police had to buy riot gear the first year to keep the non-participants under control. We have half the national average of police officers per 1,000 residents. Over 20% of the population lives in poverty, but the average price of a house is $187,000. Our minimum wage is $7/hour. All of this in a city of about 120,000, if you include commuters.
