openjoe: These are heavy duty jacks to raise the house in order to fix the rotten stuff underneath. You stick a pipe in the hole and turn, raising it up.

openjoe: Yeah, they are low tech, but there's really nothing to break about them ... except your back toting them around. The red one weighs 60 lbs.

openjoe: It's going slow Jen. It's so hot and there is more digging to be done. I'm making progress. I'm just not in a hurry - I'm so inclined to be cautious and careful.
