walter_ego: The burglars came to our door and turned around when they found out that we were home. Just minutes later we heard a commotion across the street. It was a smash, and grab. They were gone in a flash. We gave statements to the police.

nanny911: Thanks, Linda-girl! I'm rounding up prayer support from the christians I know on our road. I wish I would have gotten to the door in time to catch them when they were at our house first! We had no idea at the time we were just a few feet away from the culprits. I can't wait to see how God comes thru in all of this!!! Russ and I were thinking of keeping all of our goats inside the house when we are gone for protection!!!!

nanny911: LOL! ya...I think the fainters would have to be kept outside. We did, however, just install a reinforced bar across the back door of the garage tonight after seeing what they did today to the neighbor's door. Looked like it was kicked in pretty easily when the door frame broke. Russ got to use his power tools tonight :)

ken: I really am sorry about this. But I'd like to hazard a joke now. Or maybe you should really try this. Remember Bang-Snaps?! Why don't you put a whole bunch of those out all around your house. Then, if burglars come near, they'll step on them, bangs will go off, your goats will drop to the ground, and the burglars will think that someone is firing a gun! Just an idea I had...might not be what God was "doing," though.
