Kim - so I have been totally gung ho about this till we got to the mall. Then all the sudden I was like uhhh, I don't know if I can do this. But we had been talking about it for months so I knew I did want to do it but I was a little nervous. I was surprised at myself.
Angela - She took it soo well. The first ear she didn't really cry right away. She kind of just looked straight ahead then starting crying a little. Then they did the second one, she was really not too happy about that one. She screamed for a minute or so, then she was done. That's it, no complaining about it.
She gets called a boy all the time! I think it's the no hair.

Ava has been referred to as a boy too many times too. She could be dressed in pink and ruffles from head to toe and someone would still ask me how old my little "boy" is. Her face doesn't even look boyish either. I think it's the hair thing with her too. Its finally coming in more so the boy comments are lessening but it actually would hurt my feelings sometimes when someone would just blurt something out! I think people just don't think about what they're saying before they say it.

Maybe it's hair??? Because my baby and her crazy do never gets called a boy. Her dad is kinda girly looking though... and I never let her leave the house without a bow. I don't think either Ava or Clara looks like a boy. And Jessie you are my hero... I can't even take Evie to get shots.

It is the hair. I try not to let it hurt my feelings and usually I don't correct people. But I am getting tired of hearing it. Like people just look at the clothes!

i actually gave a semi offended look once when someone thought ari was a boy and she said after i said she was a girl...and i quote, "you never know anymore cuz boys are wearing pink now." wff?
angelamarie:
i wouldn't dress my boys in pink. Well I think being called a boy when you are a bald girl is better than having your boy with longer hair be called a girl. Jacksons hair wasn't even that long either!!! I think people should just keep that info to themselves...they don't really how offensive it is!
