dynamololo: He had immunizations today (not the flu shot). This is the first time he's had a high temp because of them.

dynamololo: He had a temp of 101-102 all morning. Had to keep a cool cloth on him a lot - he didn't like that so much. Owen ate 1/2 a banana and a piece of toast w/pb & raw honey on it for lunch. I asked him if he wanted to get down off the couch and go play and he said "dah" (his version of yeah) and was getting into things. His temp was down to 100.7 before nap, gave him more Tylenol, and he's sleeping now (without a binkie!!). Ped said yesterday to start weaning him off the binkie, so I figured, instead of getting him addicted to it even more while he's sick, to just comfort him. It's working so far but I realized he was trying to tell me he wanted it by whining & putting his palm up to his mouth. I just said "I know bubba, it's ok". Maybe he'll forget about it. hehe
