LOVE IT! Sheena... you are a blonde. BLONDE! And I have permission to physically restrain you if you ever EVER think of going back to brown, and ESPECIALLY if you try to do it yourself.
I love it blonde, and you know if anyone would tell you different, it would be me... because I am rude :)

I know...let the records show that I Sheena Werking...oops...Souza give Kristin 100% custody over my blonde locks, and if and when I get the urge to go dark again (usually in July or August) of every year), she is to use whatever means necessary to stop me. I mean it. I SOOOOO mean it. I regret it every time. Love you :)

Haha Jessie that's funny. It's actually sad on my part. lol. My hair is very forgiving of me considering all I put it through.

blondes have more fun :) So I am guessing that it is fine to dye during pregnancy?

kimlandziak:
"They" being the FDA say its advisable that you don't dye while pregnant but there is really no justification for them saying that since the dye doesn't stay in your hair very long and unless you have a scalp in very poor shape it doesn't absorb very much of it either. It can react differently with your hair while pregnant than it would when not. It can cause a better effect or an undesirable one. There's a lot of things that are said to be taboo while pregnant that really are unfounded...like dyeing your hair or eating even fully cooked sushi...both of which I did with both of my pregnancies so far and my kids are healthy and happy! Sorry that was so long...

Agreed Kim. Did you guys k ow that pregnant women go though chemotherapy while pregnant and their babies come out healthy and fine? Isn't that crazy?? I never would have thought that such toxic subtances like chemotherapy and radiation wouldn't affect a baby. Of course I'm not saying that's license to do whatever-we know there's evidence of how certain drugs affect babies and of course there's fetal alcohol syndrome. But I was just shocked when I heard that about the chemo. My hair takes very well to bleach during pregnancy for some reason. I think each woman has to pray about it and decide what is right for her and the baby. "experts say"...."experts say"....to me it matters what God says.
