@Bens- In Ashland of course, the most romantic place on earth at this time of year=)
@Ratty86- Its basically a glorified snail breed specifically to eat....it was'nt too bad, although I could'nt get the image of it sliming around my garden out of my head as I ate it! Ick!
@Cat- we were at this amazing French restaurant in Ashland called Chautealin the flavor was amazing

@melissa, yeah, that image was one of the things that got me. the texture. the one I had was the size of a golf ball and chewy with a crunch on the inside, like part of the shell. I think it just wasn't as great of an experience for me. lol. I am glad yours tasted good though!!
