No :( I sure wish I did though...my girls would love it. I've never really had the desire. I was taught cooking and sewing, but I have yet to use what I learned.

I guess that shows that we don't have to be like our moms. My mom was not a very good cook, but I love to cook. :)

thats how my mom is. her mom wasn't much of a homemaker, but she is supermom...homemade everything, garden, chickens, homeschool...the works! maybe I got spoiled? maybe it skips a generation and my girls will be all that? who knows! haha! :)

I have seen that place tons of times, but never been there! What is it? Do they sell different types of flours?

valdasc:
Yes, Tiffany, and rice, herbs, tea, nuts, dried fruit and beans. I wasn't sure where I could find whole grains for my bread. They have most of what I need.:) They've also got some bread mixes that do not have hydrogenated oil and additives, for those who may not want to cook totally from scratch. I'll run down with you some time if I'm not already busy.

Go west on 44 (from I-5). When you hit downtown, it becomes Shasta St. After you pass the railroad tracks, it will be on your left. Hope you can find it. :)

well no more than shopping at Trader Joe's for food! I guess if you like making bread form scratch and pasta etc then you dont mind paying a little more to get good ingredients. We shop there periodically for flour etc
