bscofield: Can you burn fires in that fireplace? i don't think I ever saw anyone with an indoor fireplace in guatemala... at least not in use.

scomom: yes...in fact the landlady told us if we got cold we could start a fire. she had one going this evening.

scomom: November is the beginning of their "invierno"...cooler than normal and the colder nights will be in Jan. & Feb. but, they are having cooler than normal temps here, too. That darn global warming!
