I agree. No one likes to be talked over. There is plenty of time for talking before or after youth. Granted there is the occasional talk. But not constant talking as is what we have here. I teach my kids if we are both talking at the same time, then someone is not listening and you dont value or honor what Im teaching.

Yes they talk while others are talking. It is really odd that they are even in there?? sometimes I wonder why sit there when you can go talk somewhere else?? ya know? If you are not hungry then why come get fed??? Then i hear the Holy Spirit say: well seeds are being planted Inga mae regardless and one day those seeds will grow.....it is a divine tension indeed.....i don't know the answer only God does so maybe they should talk and when something is said with such a powerful authority and glory they will be stunned enough for a moment to listen...that is what we need. Angels to be released to our youth that will be dispatched and stun and keep their attention for a few minutes while the word is being spoken.

I hate to sound like an old person :), but I really think it has to do, in part, with the generation. When I was growing up, there was no talking in study hall, and if we had a guest speaker in an assembly, you couldn't even turn your head to the side and even look like you MIGHT talk cuz you'd get reprimanded. I sub in the public schools, and the kids think nothing of talking when a speaker (or teacher) is talking....they don't even really know how to whisper...they just talk in a regular voice. I think most of them don't see it as disrespect or dishonor. They just want to talk, so they do, w/o thinking of anyone else.
