 A Long Day in McLoud

| The day started early. Justin's (my cousin) shoes caught fire by the camp fire. We went into town to the candy shop. While there, we looked at the ginormous mushrooms on exhibit for the mushroom festival. Then we went to see the falls. We went back to camp just in time for a thunderstorm to hit. After the downpour, I played throw gold with my dad and John (my brother). Then I played catch with John. Then we huddled around the fire and I started a game: say a movie quote and the others guess the movie; the correct guess awards the person the right to give the next quote. Dexter, my uncle's black lab, started growling, which he does not do, so we figured something was out in the trees that we couldn't see. At that point, we all pretty much went to bed. | |||||||
