 travel day.....

| well i tried this once and my computer crashed while i was trying to save this days journal, and of course it was after i was finished writing a book about day 1! So here I go again...but in a MUCH SHORTER version!! We had a long day...40 minutes of sleep and we had to head to MSP:( Not enough for me to get through a long day of travel and then the evening conference that goes quite long! But that was the sacrifice for choosing an EARLY flight so we could make the evening conference. Our plane took of at 6:50 AM!! Uh! Not good...everyone should be sleeping then! And we had a layover in Texas:( And then we almost took of on the plane to Orlando with one of the doors OPEN!! We almost got off the ground after speeding up but thankfully they realized it! So we waited and hour or more and finally took off and arrived in Orlando at 2PM. Of course I needed more coffee:) 2nd one of the day! And then there was one problem....we hadn't arranged for a ride to get to Lakeland. None of us were old enough to rent a car so that wasn't good, nor did any of us have much spare cash. But we ended up taking a van to the Lakeland Center for the meeting. And it was such a divine encounter!! The driver was a Christian:) And soooo amazing! We got a chance to talk about God and he was teaching us too! He just so happened to be an associate pastor at a church outside of Orlando! Way cool!! And then he prayed for us and we prayer for him once we arrived. Then we get a call...Nick left his phone at the airport!:( Not cool! But that wasn't gonna slow us down! So we head up to wait in line to get seats and we find out we can't carry bags, not even backpacks in so we have no place to put them:( So we decided we would just leave them outside and pray that they'd be there a few hours later when we leave. While in line we got a chance to talk to lots of people in front and behind us. There were a few guys we meet who came down with there youth pastor and then some pastors from Texas, who we really got a chance to meet. They actually offered to put our stuff in there rental car which was AH-MAZ-ING!! Thank you God!!! There were a few others who did too...everyone was soooo nice as you can see:) So we put our stuff in there car and talked with them more. We ended up sitting with them during the service too. Now the best part of the night..... We are finally inside the Lakeland Center...the very place where tons of healings are taking place!!! YEAAAA! And of course Todd Bently and the many other people!! So first off...worship...the best EVER!!! It was like nothing else. I can't even put it into words!! It was all about God and glorifying Him!! His presence was so thick that night and there was just this freedom there! It was a chance to spend time in His presence and be intimate with Him and to get MORE of Him!! I LOVED it!! And then Todd Bently...He didn't really speak on something that night. It was more of demonstrating Gods works through healings! He called out words of knowledge...or should I say "words of creation"??? I think that was it! HA! He called it something along the lines of creative miracles. And then people in wheel chairs. There were tons of people who got out of there wheel chairs and walked for the first time in a long time!!! Yea!! Oh happy day:) And there were tons of others healed from other sicknesses and diseases! Todd even said, at that time, that night had to most healings since the revival started! Now I'm sure since that day which was the 48th there has been a GREATER night!! But it was such an eye open at what the Lord does! And theres more!! He imparted healing to each one of us!! I recieve it all!!! So that was awesome!! Being there and Todd...Todd...Imparting healing onto EVERYONE there!! And then back to the pastors we meet...they were such a blessing to meet! After the service they took us out to eat and got a chance to talk more about ourselves and the Lord. And then they offered to take us to our hotel, in which we were waiting for 4 others from Desting who were meeing us there that were on a later flight. So we get there at 2 in the morning figuring that they're not there yet but thankfully they had just arrived and were checking in!!! What a relief! Then we said our goodbyes for the night and I headed to bed...but not before I got a showere! I was sweatin in that Florida weather! And that was our first day...kind of started off a little tough but got WAY better by the end! Thank you Lord!!! ...so one of these days I'll write what happened to me the next 3 days:) |
