| Today we finally made it out of South Bend. We didn't want to say goodbye to Cindy and Raoul and their baby Ashton. But we had to make it back. Once we got into the city, we dropped Ashley off at the train station and bid her farewell too. That was sad...she's really special. Then Kate, me, Jessica and Scott went into the city and ate at Giordanos before taking Jessica to the airport... we ate double stuffed pizza ---> totally gross, i think. There was WAY TOO MUCH CHEESE! Afterward we took Jessica to the airport and said goodbye... that was sad too...i really love these girls. "And then there were three" said Scott, and we drove up to Doug's house who lives right on the eastern border of Illinois and Wisconsin (45 minutes away). Doug took us out around his nice town that night in his dad's convertible, we stayed up watching some of the Olympics, drank Root Beer Floats (with famous home-made root beer that he picked up at this cool little shop in his town), and eventually we all dozed off ---> our last night together. I had some special dreams that night. It was a very special time with Jesus. mm...people...and Jesus...love and pain, love and pain |
