| I got a text from Missy this morning at 6:40am. It said contractions are about 5 min apart, heading to the hospital to be checked. I went into work waiting for the phone call to say she was admitted. I got the call at 8:10am. I headed to the hospital. When I arrived Missy was doing good and she was at 3cm. It was time for the epidural, we all left the room. Shortly after Logan's heart rate dropped and the doc discussed the possibility of a C-section. We were allowed back in the room shortly after. Missy was doing good but was worried about Logan and getting a C-section. Her doc came back to check on her and the baby, after a few hours Logan had not changed his position and his hand/arm was covering his face and we learned he was mouth down. His chin would have come out first, the nurse explained it that he was "sunny side up"!! Missy's doc then brought in the C-section doc to check her, he was going to try to move Logan. He wasn't able to move him and ordered a C-section. We all shared an emotional time and LOTS of prayer through the whole day. Missy went in for the C-section around 12:30 and Logan was BORN at 1:18pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hooray-he is a beautiful little boy 6lbs 7oz 19in. He is perfect and the family is very Happy and grateful for their new Blessing!!!! Thanks for letting me share this Awesome day guys!!! Love ya! | |||||||
