 Sight seeing

| On the last day of our journey we were treated to a day long sight seeing tour by our hosts. After coffee at a local upscale mall they took us to a fruit and animal market in central Jakarta. They had everything from spiky fruit balls to monkeys. We went to lunch at a really fun restaurant. Kevin had sake and I had coconut milk. In the afternoon we went to a dock where they showed us how they import wood from the local islands. They told us most of the boats do not have any sort of navigation and still travel using the stars as their map. As the evening started to wind down we went to an upscale bar for a round of drinks and then finished with dinner at a really good Indian restaurant. |
