Raising The Dead
So, I went to tecate this year. I was supposed to go to Alaska with Dickson Slater. I ended up having shoulder surgery in January and couldnt afford to go. I chose to go to Tecate because I didnt want to go to Tijuana again. God had something else in mind. I wasnt really excited about going on this trip. I was more excited about seeing my Grandparents. This may get alittle long but please stay with me.

I was in a car with Lorry, Rosario and Elizabeth. We were leaving a day early to go and stay with my grandparents in Orange County overnight because we didnt want to make the whole drive all in one day. We were supposed to leave at 5 am, but we ended up not leaving till around 6pm. We ended up making all of these stops that we didnt know why we were making them. We decided to actually stop and sit down and have lunch and we made a couple of gas stops. At one gas station, we were going to get gas but it was really filled up and so we decided to go down the street and get some ice cream and then come back and get some gas.

We then came upon the "Grapevine" in southern california. It is a point where you go up about 4000 feet in a matter of a couple of miles. We had just come upon the plato where it levels out. We saw a accident and we pulled over and ran to the accident scene. We were about the 3rd group to arrive at the scene. The first people to arrive at the scene was a army personnel and a aneseaologist. There was lady that had responded first to the scene. She said that the baby was trying to trying to push itself up and the dad tried to pick it up and the lady told him to lie him back down. She was holding the baby when we arrived and Lorry and I started to pray for the baby. At one point, we couldnt find a pulse and the baby wasnt bleeding so we knew that the baby had died. Then the paramedic arrived and couldnt find a pulse either. We started praying fervently. The mom of the baby was crying and freaking out and so Rosario took her aside and tried to calm her down. Elizabeth was praying and then she just started praying over the accident scene. Rosario was taking care of the mom and the other boy that was not hurt in the accident. Lorry and I were praying for the baby the whole time. Sometime later, the baby started to come back to life and started crying and it was a amazing scene. Rosario ended up leading the Mom to the Lord. We left after the ambulance arrived and started to put the baby on the gurney.

Another amazing part of this is that when the CHP arrived, they didnt tell us to leave, they actually let us pray for the baby. The actually formed a barrier of their cruisers arround us and let us continually pray for the baby.

At one point, one of the lady's put gripped my hand and told us not to stop praying.

About 2 hours previous to this. Heath and Aaron and Rex passed us. Heath was going to go in our car but then they needed more drivers and so he decided to drive and Elizabeth came with us. What is the amazing thing about this is that Heath and his other two guys arrived at the scene 5 mins after we arrived there. God had them stop as well. So instead of having 4 revivalists at the scene, we had 7 revivalists. God is so amazing. It took about 20 mins after getting in the car that it hit us that God had used us to raise a baby from the dead. All-in-all, there was about 10 christians on the scene.

I am just so undone that the Lord would allow us to participate in Raising the Dead. I was so wreaked the whole trip. I couldnt get my mind off of this. Even now as i am writing this, I am giving thanks to the Lord that he would use me to raise a baby from the dead and I am almost in tears. I am really excited that so many first years got to participate in this. Oh my gosh, words cannot come to mind the greatness of the Lord and he orchestrating my path to do this.
