MAC's are the worst, i cant stand using them its just a pain to navigate and all together way to expensive for what little you get, of course i wont rant about this subject because there wont be enough space left for complaints about it lol, use linux it has almost non existant viruses even though its not the most complete os but its getting there, or you can dual boot osx on a pc which is what i would do but thats a big hastle that im to lazy to handle

Wow, what a forum this has become. MACs.. Well they are the best... for professional Music and Video editing. Everything else, you may be sorry you have one. Hard to get software of your choice for. And no, they are not safe, it is just that more people have pc's then MACs. If the hackers start targeting the MACs they will go down faster then PCs. They are just not targeted as much. But they are not immuned from viruses or spyware. Chrissy's problem was a PC is unique in that is is not an original install, and ended up with one. They do get less, but I have not had a virus on my computer in 10 years. Go Symantec. It's just my opinion, but I use my computer a lot, and having a MAC would eliminate my ability to purchase a lot of software. So, I will always stick with PC.

see thats what i told my friend who thinks macs are the best and are immuned to viruses but no one believes me its not like macs are god like there just a rebranded pc with a huge price tag, sry if someone wiht a mac doesn't like this but its just my take
