annielas: That's it! You're good Rakel. I just do layers like this: butter, potatoes, salt and pepper, cheese, potatoes, s & p, cheese and then butter. bake covered for 50 or til done at 400. uncover and bake til cheese is crisp. Mat loves these. I guess I could add some onions or other seasonings but they are really good this way... I like simple
