Beni, you will so laugh. I saw you at Orchards awhile back (we moved to Redding from Bakersfield 7 months ago). I recognized you from Bethel and from BU2 and I really wanted to say, "Hi" but I wanted to honor your quiet shop time too, so I never did.
My brother Mat (from TN) and I met your Mother and Father last night at Bethel and your granddaughter too. What a sweet sweet couple. I actually didn't know who they were before I met them (I'm still new and connecting all the dots). What a blessing you and your family are! Thank you!

It was so amazing!!! Joy I am just starting to get it! I knew it when God opened the door for us to move but we've been in such a state of grieving and such that it's taken awhile to look up and engage. The tide is turning and Casey is now going to a 12 week writers class and I just started going through a sozo training class on Wed. nights. I think after the sozo training we'll get in a home group too.

He reminded me of Dad, so good with the kids! Mikah couldn't get enough of him either. She kept climbing all over him. Hannah got a kiss goodbye this morning around 5am and cried after he left. Very special to have him with us.

Pray for Mat while he travels all. He's phoneless so we don't have contact with him. I know his original flight plans have been changed by United so he'll have to do some backtracking which is not fun. Safe travel in the name of Jesus!

I love that smile! His apple has dirt all over it now too as his hands are filthy. I didn't wash them either, just sent him back outside. Lol, he's my third child for sure.

She made the fire pit with the rocks and grill and is playing like the Boxcar Children. Out on their own making their meals over the fire. It's all pretend and I LOVE it. They now have up a clothes line and are washing rags in a bucket and hanging them to dry. Even Malachi is in on the action.

Can you make beef jerky with these? How much are they. Nathan and I were just talking about wanting to get one. Our kids like dried fruit and I LOVE beef jerky.
