The funniest thing is that right after I took this Aurora slipped and fell, followed by Ali, who jumped on top of her and they rolled around laughing, getting all wet, but having a blast :-)

No luck, dad, they all had school :-(. Oh well, they'll be out for Christmas Break soon, hopefully we'll get another good snow and we'll make it up the hill. :-)

Ive almost, that is almost had two accidents where people pulled in front of me at the last second. Another lady decided to come over into my lane and looked at me like it was my fault. At the post office, I was waiting for a parking space with my blinker on and people decided to go around me on both sides no less. Ive decided not NOT to be in a hurry. They are driving like madmen out here. I think the economy has definitely affected people in numerous ways :(. But to know the King of peace is everything.

Not "believe", dad..... Faith...... "evidence of things unseen", right? It is FAITH in a radical FEAR based religion, who's core concept is that humans are evil by nature, that WE are the virus that is killing "Mother Earth", that it is the Human Race that must be purged in order to bring "peace" to the universe. Just look at Hollywood, it is the main voice of this religion.

I'm with you, ann! I was driving to Red Bluff, this is just south of Cottonwood, over the hills there before Red Bluff. This was not the worst of it, just the only safe spot for me to take a picture ;-).
I watched four people slide off the road, one slid from right lane into a car in the left lane in front of me and they both went sliding off the embankment. I would have stopped, but it truly was not safe, I would have made the problem worse, not better...... so I just called it in and kept going.
The problem isn't the snow...... I can drive in snow..... it's the moronic Bay Area and So Cal transplants that think they can drive 70 mph on the freeway when you can't even see the fog lines, or they freak out and drive 20 mph halfway on the shoulder, making big rigs, who don't want to lose their momentum going up hills, pass them , hitting the pile of untouched ice in the middle of the road!!!!
I just turned on 4WD and plowed through with a couple of cars following behind, in my tread. :-)

I know we lived in the snow for awhile. people here have no clue how to drive. I dont know how to use the 4WD on my car though. But I know what to do if I hit ice, dont brake!

I remember one a long time ago, Holly and I were coming home up I-5. It was snowing so bad between Red Bluff and home. I was nervous to say the least. I followed close behind a big rig. I could hardly see.
